"Kinoklub Super 8" is a collective of four artists united around archiving and preserving amateur home movies from Bulgaria shot on 8 mm, super 8, 16 mm and video (VHS, mini DV).

Our idea is to build an accessible digital archive to promote an unknown cultural heritage.

The "club" began as informal screenings of amateur films every Wednesday.  However, it became clear very quickly that the only way to preserve and distribute these films is through digitisation.

That's how we began building the current collection, which so far has over 200 films provided by donors or orphaned.

"Kinoclub Super 8" 's members are Neda Milanova, Tihomir Stoyanov, Kevork Vanlyan and Bogomil Dimitrov.
